Mental Health Counseling

"Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn't mean you can, should or need to do it alone."

- Lisa Olivera

Individual Counseling

Offers the opportunity to work one on one with a trained therapist in a safe, confidential, and affirming environment working towards your individualized goals. This may include exploring your feelings, thoughts or behaviors and working through challenging memories. You, the client, will identify aspects of your life that you would like to change to better understand yourself and/or others. You will also be able to set personal goals and work towards long lasting change.

Couples Therapy

It would be great if every couple had the fairytale ending of living “happily ever after”. Unfortunately, maintaining a happy, healthy, long-term relationship requires hard work. Even the strongest couples struggle with tough times and challenges. During couples counseling, the counselor will view the relationship as the client. The counselor will work with the couple to increase the awareness and the impact that each person‘s behaviors and words has on the other and on the relationship. You will have the opportunity to work on issues together in a constructive fashion. The counselor will encourage the couple to practice new ways of communication and using healthier interactions with your partner. You will learn effective ways of solving problems together, communicating with each other in more direct and healthier way while supporting each other.
